Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just approved the investment in two social housing projects including: Nam Ngan social housing project (Seafront) at No. 44 Dinh Bo Linh Street, Hai Cang ward and social housing project at Nhon Binh ward (Quy Nhon city).

Nam Ngan social housing project (Seafront) at No. 44 Dinh Bo Linh street, Hai Cang ward, invested by Nam Ngan Investment JSC, covering an area of 1.800m2, including 198 apartments, 3 townhouses. The project has a total investment of nearly VND 170 billion dong and is expected to begin construction in the second quarter of 2019 and be completed and put into use in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Binh Dinh People's Committee also agreed to select Thu Do Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company as an investor of the social housing project in Nhon Binh ward, Quy Nhon City. The project has a total investment of over 1,400 billion VND, 100% of which is spent by the enterprise. Project implementation period is 2019 to 2022.

These two projects are aimed at housing needs for people: revolutionary people; low-income people, poor and near-poor households; employees working in enterprises inside and outside industrial zones; officers, non-commissioned officers, professional soldiers; workers; units of the People's Police and the People's Army; officials and civil servants…

According to the plan to 2020, Binh Dinh province will put into use about 2,400 apartments for low-income people. For houses, policy beneficiaries shall keep intact as planned; removed from the list of projects to develop social housing for students, housing for workers of Nhon Hoi refinery and petrochemical complex, low-income housing in the land of the Bach Tuyet Animal Slaughter Center and the area of Transport Cooperative 1/4 in Quy Nhon City.

At the same time, adjust the land use scale of social housing project in Bui Thi Xuan ward from 1 ha to 1.6 ha. Supplementing social housing projects, including: houses for workers and laborers working at enterprises invested in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park (An Nhon Town), Nhon Hoi Economic Zone; Project of low-income apartment housing in 4 land, total area of 8.4 ha, scale of about 5,700 apartments at the Center of Transportation Training, Urban - Commercial area of North Ha Thanh river, land in Nhon Binh and Tran Quang Dieu Ward (Quy Nhon); Social housing project based on the model of townhouse in Phuoc My commune (Quy Nhon) and Canh Vinh commune (Van Canh); Social housing project in Hoai Nhon and Tay Son districts.

In addition, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has instructed relevant sectors to implement social housing development in the province according to Directive No. 03 / CT-TTg January 25, 2017 of the Government. The work of approving the subjects to buy social housing instead of almost "white contract" for investors, will be managed by the management agencies from the actual needs, avoiding the inadequacies and mistakes in the invest procedure, buy, sell, manage ... social housing as today.
